Guys, I am in a rut. Lately with the gloomy weather I just haven’t been feeling that inspired. My outfits have been simple, my hair ends up in a bun every single day, and overall things have just been a little “blah!” over here. It doesn’t help that I am trying to be more responsible with my budget and avoid my constant need to bring new clothing items into the house. Today I am hitting the reset button and sharing a few of the things that are helping me beat my rut without spending a dime… (I bet you can style each of these using items you already own.)

  1. Cigarette skinnies & pumps — okay okay, this one’s not new. I always love a pair of skinny grey or black jeans paired with pointed spike heels. Just identifying that this is a “signature” look for me is helping me feel inspired.
  2. I love this look — I am a sucker for rolled cuffs, but a distressed rolled cuff feels just a hint more fresh and fun!
  3. Stacked arm candy has been a trend for a while, but I love the simplicity of the way this one was styled. I think the hint of metallics in each piece keeps the look cohesive and I love that none of the baubles are too big or overly flashy. Juuuuust right.
  4. Instead of throwing my hair into this mess of a low bun everyday I want to kick things up a notch with a ladylike curled high pony. (Bow optional.)
  5. Having a clean, organized, pretty desk, makes a huge difference. I am at my desk for 8-10 hours a day, it had better look good, right? I’ll be organizing with cute Paper Source accessories and a bundle of fresh flowers.
  6. Striped top and BF jeans with adorable Parisian messy-on-purpose hair. Looks like I’ll be stealing one of Gressel’s shirts and pairing with the sandal pumps to keep the look feminine.

Lastly I am going to adjust my attitude and try and love as much as I can. Rain is annoying, but ultimately good for us! 🙂

What’s inspiring you right now?

I love this! I’m in major need of a style reset without the budget. We should organize a clothing swap!

Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword….wait there’s even more Now what if i told you there was a simple WordPress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you? That’s right AUTOMATICALLY, just watch this 4minute video for more information at. Seo Plugin
