Happy Wednesday, everyone! We’re getting a little sneak peek of beach weather here in the Bay Area and it is a big fat reminder to start getting my butt in gear! I am always a big fan of working out and eating right, but with the rain and gloom I was certainly doing more slacking than anything else. To get back into gear I figured I would share what I am committing myself to; both to keep myself accountable and to maybe help get some of you in gear too! Here is what my week’s are looking like:
Monday: I start off with a sweaty spin sesh, the Monday teacher at my gym is the hardest so it’s the perfect kick start to the week!
Tuesday: I recently started attending barre classes and while I am horribly uncoordinated and embarrassing, I still have a lot of fun trying.
Wednesday: I take a jog along the Embarcadero or other scenic and pretty paths in SF. Above is a shot I recently took on one of my jogs!
Friday: DAY OFF! I usually indulge and have my “cheat meals” on Fridays too. Having a day to indulge helps me kep from going crazy while I munch on carrots and grilled chicken the rest of the week.
Saturday: Double duty! I like to hit yoga and barre, or sometimes spin again.
Sunday: I like to spend my Sundays outdoors with the boys. We’ll take Koshy on a hike, to the dog park, or something else fun and outdoorsy. If the weather is bad I like to hit up Soul Cycle.
I am also totally missing my Lagree/SPX Pilates I did back in LA. I have tried a few studios, but no winners yet. Guess I’ll have to keep trying 😉
